Freelance Technical Senior Project Manager | £400-450 a day (inside IR35) | 3-4 month contract
Our marketing agency client are looking for a Freelance Technical Senior Project Manager who will be working to support on a digital transformation programme of work for a large corporate client of theirs. You will work across 3 critical work streams.
Responsibilities:
Producing project timelines and interdependencies.
Providing expert delivery and change management skills.
Coordinating resource and day-to-day activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Constantly monitor and report on project progress, manage and validate change requests as required.
Pro-actively identify conflicts, risks and resource gaps and manage these throughout all phases of the project.
Serve as the lead delivery interface with the relevant clients on projects.
Recognise and solve potential problems, escalate issues or conflicts to the Project Director and Client Lead, and continually evaluate project effectiveness.
Communication and relationship management
Flagging risks and bottle necks
Taking the lead in stand-ups and having an opinion
Resource management, manage project burn and mitigate risks
Skills:
Technical project management experience at a digital agency, working on large enterprise accounts
Martech, Data, Digital Transformation experience
Programme Management/Workstream management
Self-starter and able to drive projects forward, prioritise tasks, be solution orientated and ensure deadlines are met.
Strong organisational and project management skills (scoping, scheduling project timelines, coordinating project teams, resource planning) as well as attention to detail.
Comfortable with client liaison and always mindful of managing expectations.
Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
A team player, able to work collaboratively and mindful of the needs of others.
