Our client, a premier Data Consultancy, collaborates with leading brands to ensure the intelligent use of their data. They are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Director with a commercial mindset to foster strong client relationships, provide expert data solutions, and identify opportunities for growth within the portfolio of client accounts you will be managing. You’ll be part of a well-established client services team, supported by Account Managers.
The Role:
As an Account Director, you’ll be the primary relationship owner for top-tier client accounts, focusing on retention and growth. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be a natural relationship builder, and have a passion for data technology and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client accounts across various brands, focusing on retention and growth.
Build trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, ensuring clients maximize the value of our services.
Collaborate with senior clients to understand their needs and present strategies to engage their customers and drive revenue.
Use a consultative approach to client development, offering timely advice and recommendations.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to support client retention and growth.
Identify and address areas for improvement in quality, product, and revenue processes.
Prepare and lead client onboarding, consulting on best practices and solutions.
Communicate future product improvements and roadmaps to clients.
Requirements:
At least 4 years account management experience in the data marketing industry and data solution development.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation.
Highly numerate and commercially aware.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with a methodical approach.
Experience with FastStats or similar tools is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of the Direct Marketing Industry.
