Social Media Strategist | Creative Marketing Agency | £55K-£60K

A dynamic and creative marketing agency are seeking a bright and passionate Social Media Strategist with 3-4 years of agency experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking skills, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a proven ability to translate consumer insights into innovative and effective social media campaigns. This role will involve working with a diverse portfolio of well-known FMCG brands, offering a dynamic mix of projects across channels such as social media, eCRM, activation, through-the-line campaigns, OOH, and radio. This engagement provides the opportunity to work on a variety of challenges and develop expertise across different areas of the marketing landscape. While the primary focus remains on this FMCG portfolio, the agency's flexibility allows for occasional collaborations on other brands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute impactful social media strategies aligned with client objectives.

  • Conduct thorough social media research and analysis, including competitive analysis, audience segmentation, and trend identification.

  • Translate insights into compelling creative briefs that inspire and guide the creative team.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including account managers, creatives, and media planners.

  • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.


Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of agency experience in a strategic role.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.

  • Experience in social media planning, execution, and measurement.

  • Proficiency in social listening tools and social analytics platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
