An exciting opportunity for a professional, organised HR Manager to join an independent prep school in London, which is part of a wider fast growing Education Group. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the school's mission. Working into a dynamic Head teacher with support from the wider HR team within the group. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staffing needs.
Employee Relations: Act as first point of contact for HR issues, enhance employee engagement through the implementation of initiatives, and handle conflict resolution and disciplinaries.
People & Culture: Help foster a positive culture and strong communication, by example
Performance Management & Development: Coordinate staff development and provide performance management support and coaching.
HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain employee records, oversee contracts, and ensure legal compliance.
Policy Development & Implementation: Update HR policies and provide staff training.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Ensure accurate payroll processing.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of HR management experience, preferably in education or an organisation where you are familiar with DBS/Safe-Guarding.
Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices.
CIPD Qualified (or similar)
Proficient in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
Able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
